People use their android phones for a number of different reasons and purpose today. Since each user has different purposes for their needs and preferences, they may want to do extraordinary things that the average user may not be brave enough to do. Sometimes you may encounter challenges when deleting and installing some apps to the Android phone. This calls for the need to root your Android phone. However, the process of rooting your Android phone may not be easy due to the complexity that comes with the rooting tools and some time you may not be able to complete the rooting.
The following are some of the reasons that lead to failure when rooting your Android phone and we also provide solutions to help you solve these failures.
1. The rooting system version doesn't match with the phone model
If the version of the rooting system does not match the model of your phone. This means the two are not compatible hence it is not possible to complete the rooting.
Solution: To correct this type of rooting problem, the user will need the compatible version of the OS so that they can begin the process again. If not, the failure will continue to persist.
2. Because of the Root package
The root package may also pose a challenge. The device may support OTA or ICS both which can be copied to the SD card and upgraded. Flashing the phone may be taken as a rooting option.
Solution: The Android phone can be rooted but the user will need to flash it.
3. Enter the Recovery Mode
Some phones require you to flash the phone when at the recovery mode hence rooting may fail if you fail to observe that.
Solution: Press the "Volume -" and the "Power" button simultaneously for a while, you can enter the Recovery Mode.
4. The Phone Driver
You may not have installed the drive of the phone before rooting. This may in return cause the rooting tools to be inactive.
Solution: The user will need to identify the right drivers first. Once identified, they must be installed before rooting.
5. The system of PC
The PC system may also be a challenge. This is because the rooting tools are compatible with the different system and therefore you need to check if the PC system is compatible with the rooting tools.
Solution: Turn the PC system to the right one. For example, users of Win 7 or Win 8 need to set their PC to "XP compatible mode". To do that, you can right click the icon of the program and then go to "Properties"> "Compatibility"> "Windows XP (Service Pack 3)"> "Apply"> "OK".
6. Poor internet connection
A stable internet connection is necessary when you perform rooting process. Therefore, if the Wi-Fi or cellular data is poor, the rooting process would not be finished smoothly.
Solution: Check the status of the network on your phone. If the signal is weak or even no signal, you can turn it off first and then turn it on again, or you just move to another place where the signal is strong.
7. Low battery
Make sure your phone battery has enough power because most rooting tools require a high battery to support the rooting.
Solution: Charge your phone to a high battery, no less than 80% is better.
