Notice: You are not a Huawei user? You can choose to check either the general guide on how to enable USB debugging on Android device or the specific guidelines on other Android brands as below:

First of all, after you plugged your Huawei device into computer with a USB cable, please scroll down from the top of the screen to check if the USB connection type is "Transfer files" or "MTP". If not, please tap it to change to one of them.
After that, please continue to check the corresponding instructions to enable USB debugging on Huawei devices according to your phone series as follows.
For Huawei Mate Series:
Step 1. Go to "Settings" > "System" on your phone.
(1) If you can see "Developer options", please skip to the next step.
(2) If you can not find "Developer options", please go to "About phone" > Tap "Build number" 7 times in rapid succession. Then back to the System page, you might find "Developer options" shows up.
Step 2. Tap "Developer options" and turn on "Developer options".
Step 3. Switch on "USB debugging", and tap "OK" when "Allow USB debugging?" prompt pops up.
For Android 6.0 and above, please continue to tap "Select USB configuration" and choose "Media Transfer Protocol(MTP)". If MTP option doesn't work, please try "RNDIS (USB Ethernet)", "Audio Source" or "MIDI" instead.
For Huawei Honor Series/P Series:
Step 1. Go to "Settings" on your phone.
(1) If you can find "Developer options", please skip to the next step.
(2) If you can't find "Developer options", please go to "About phone" > tap "Build number" 7 times in rapid succession. Then back to the Settings page, the "Developer options" will appears here.
Step 2. Tap "Developer options" and turn on "Developer options".
Step 3. Turn on "USB debugging" and tap "OK" when "Allow USB debugging?" prompt pops up.
For Android 6.0 and above, please continue to tap "Select USB configuration" and choose "Media Transfer Protocol(MTP)". If MTP option doesn't work, please try "RNDIS (USB Ethernet)", "Audio Source" or "MIDI" instead.
