Below is the guide showing you how to split PDF files by using Coolmuster PDF Splitter.

Step 1. Run Software and Add PDF Files

Download and install the PDF Splitter on your computer. Then launch it and click "Add File" or "Add Folder" button on the top toolbar to import the PDF files you want to separate the pages. Also, you can directly drag and drop one or more PDF documents to the program at one time, and tap "Drag and drop here".

After the files loaded successfully, you will be able to see the main file info in the left file list area, like File Name, File Size, Total Pages, etc. The right Preview window allows you to browse the Adobe PDF documents page by page. You can delete your unwanted PDF files by clicking the "Delete" button.

Step 2. Set Output

The software has 3 modes to split PDF pages: Split by every page(s), Split averagely to PDF files, Split by page range to one PDF file. Here's the explanation of these three modes:

1) Split by every page(s): With this mode, you can separate your PDF files according to pages. You can split a PDF file into every page, every two/three/four pages, etc.

2) Split averagely to PDF files: If you want to averagely divide your PDF documents into several files, choose this mode.

3) Split by page range to one PDF file: To help you extract your specific PDF pages, this PDF extractor offers the third mode to you. You can enter the range you like, and then the software will split your files based on this range.

Tips: Don't want to split all imported files at one time? You can uncheck the select-all checkbox at the top.

Step 3. Begin Splitting PDF

If everything is OK, you can click the "Start" button to begin splitting your selected PDF files. During the process, a progress bar will show you how much is converted. Once the bar becomes 100%, the conversion is completed. You can click the "Show in folder" button besides "OK" to check the output files.
